How?
Jan 5 2008, 10:30 PM EST How do you get your defense score up to 75x your acreage without going negative? My defense score is about 40x, with forts up to the max. In order to get to 75x, I'd have to double my military and then I'd be negative gold! 2 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 13 2008, 8:43 PM EST a lot of people just can't... this guild is more like guildlines.. if u put all ur stats into mana (which u should for a necro and a mage) u won't be able to get 75 or 100x ur acreage. im a mogl and i have almost all my points in defense so i can get a defense per acre of 150 easily without going to negative income :> 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 27 2008, 4:27 PM EST What troops are you using? because some have better defence to upkeep economy. Apart from elites, pike-men are the best for defence, at 1.5 defence per upkeep (soldiers at 1, knights at 0.5) The elite units for Visionaries, Generals, Moguls, and Automators are all better for defence than Pokemon, but the other elites are worse. The drawback though is that increasing your defence decreaces your attack. Putting points in to the defence stat increases defence by 1% per point (although if you defence is only 40x, you'd need about 80 stat points in defence) I've worked out (although I may have gone wrong somewhere) that I could potentially get a defence 2000x my kingdom size. That's with 100% mines, and 40 gold per land. 5 mechina can be sustained per gold, and they have 5 defence. I also have enough points in defence to double it. So that's 40 x 5 x 5 x 2 = 2000! -lvl 50 noob 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Feb 23 2008, 10:37 PM EST 1. Cover 75% of your land with mines. 2. Use pure elites, unless you are a mage, in which case you might need to keep some pikemen. For some character classes (Automators, Moguls, Visionaries), #1 is enough to get the 100:1 ratio, as long as you maintain your army manually. For others (Generals, Warmongers, Slayers), you need to convert soldiers. The Valor (General) and Fortify (Visionary) spells work well. Caster classes (Necromancers and Magicians) might only be able to get up to 75:1 or 60:1, but they have other deterrent abilities. Hope this helps, Banazir Do you find this valuable? |
