Well at least one of you could have provided some more information.
But without knowing any of the specific details, I can only speculate, and it could be many reasons such as

-Hardware problem
>> Your computer is not powerful enough to run the game properly [though this is unlikely])

-Software problem
>> Your OS (operating system) is too old
>> Your web browser (i.e. IE) is too old (and therefor doesn't contain stuff that's needed to run the game)
>> Some other software may be interfering with your web browser (e.g. anti virus program may restrict access to the warbook server)
>> You may be missing some other software (or not have it up to date) which is required for warbook to run (e.g. java, flash)

-Cookies problem
>> The cookies may be causing an incorrect connection

-Internet problem
>> Your connection may somehow be restrictive to connecting to the warbook server

Some things to try.
-Delete the cookies for warbook
-Make sure internet explorer, java and flash are all up to date
-Find someone who the application works for, and and see if you can log on through their computer / they can log on through your computer, to see if the problem is your computer, or your account

If you do solve your problem, please reply as to how you solved it, to help others with the same problem.
And if you can't solve the problem by the above suggestions, say what OS (e.g. windows xp), how much ram (e.g. 1 Gb), processor (e.g. 1.6 Ghz), what antivirus software (e.g. AVG), and any other information that you think might be useful.

As far as I can tell, Flash was causing my problems. Even the latest version of Flash did not help.
So I uninstalled it. It looks like the only thing needed by flash was the Advertisements.
The Warbook works without Flash installed.

To the developers: Please fix your Flash advertisements.
