The Warbook Acronyms & Dictionary
(in alphabetical order)

Acc (Account) - A user's account.

BF (Bottom Feeding) - The act of a larger country attacking a smaller country for land and/or money.

CA (Chain Attack) - 3 or more hits from a single country (definition varies by alliance).

Ceasefire - An agreement to temporarily halt attacks between two more or more countries and/or alliances.

Channels - In FA, one will talk about the 'proper' channels. This is the process of talking to the designated people of an alliance in regards to relations.

Dealer - A person who trades troops for a set amount of money.

DP (Defensive Points) - Talent points spent in defense.

DPA (Defence Per Acre) - A country's total defensive rating divided by its kingdom size (acres).

IGN (In Game Name) - A player's country name.

FA (Foreign Aid or Foreign Affairs; also, Full Alert) - One of several meanings. Foreign Aid is the act of sending or receiving troops and/or money from another country. Foreign Affairs is the communication between two or more alliances. Full Alert is the highest alert status, at which a kingdom cannot be attacked by land or spell.

Farm - The act of chain attacking a country for land, money, or experience.

FB (Fireball or Facebook) - A dual meaning for two words. A fireball is an offensive spell that destroys a target's military units.

GT (Gamerstown) - A forum website that hosts alliances. Mainly used for Earth 2025, another texted based game.

K (a unit of measurement) - A 'K' is equal to 1,000. -- [ex. 20K = 20,000].

LAP (Limited-aggression Pact) - A set limit to the number of exchangeable hits between two or more alliances.

M / mil (a unit of measurement) - A 'M' is equal to 1,000,000. -- [ex. 30M = 30,000,000].

MPP (Mutual Protection Pact) - During peacetime this resembles a NAP but in times of war a MPP means that two alliances are to be considered as one. War on one is war with both.

Multi (Multiple) - A collection of countries under the control of a single player.

NAP (Non-aggression Pact) - A no hit pact between two or more alliances.

OP (Offensive Points) - Talent points spent in offense.

Quake (Earthquake) - An offensive spell in the game that destroys a target's structures.

Retal (Retaliation) - A hit in response to an initial hit.

RL (Real Life) - A relative term used by players to describe the world 'outside' Warbook, though some may argue that is not 'real'.

Scripting - Running a program to automatically perform maintenance actions,tap one of one's own kingdoms or an allied kingdom, or attack an enemy kingdom, at preset intervals.

SP (Spell Points) - Talent points spent in spells.

TA (Trade Agreement) - A trade agreement increases income for the two countries who are involved in the agreement.

Tapping - Deliberately attacking an allied kingdom or another of one's own kingdoms (in the case of multis) in order to keep it at higher alert levels. This is done to avoid losing land to other kingdoms and to decrease the rate of loss. In its extreme form, the kingdom is "fully tapped", i.e., attacked until it is at Full Alert, so that no other kingdom can attack it.

TJ (TJ Murphy) - The creator of Warbook.

WB (Warbook) - A game we love and hate.

WSOD / Whiteout (White Screen of Death) - A term that describes the time in which the Warbook server is down.
